Level Design
I was brought onto Gawble Gunrange about halfway through its development by the project's lead and vision holder Kobi. He asked me to help bring life to the levels that he had already grey-boxed, as well as to create any levels from scratch that had not yet been made. To this end, I worked from bare bones grey box level concepts and brought them to the levels now playable in the full release of the game. Additionally, I created a whole new world worth of levels from scratch and completely redid various levels to help provide a more coherent and consistent gameplay experience.
While creating each level, I was able to use the assets that Instant Connection's incredibly talented resident artist, Elijah, in a variety of different ways, often repurposing assets for use in originally unintended ways to combat the games limited dev time and budget.
In addition to working on the levels in Gawble Gunrange, I also assisted in development in a variety of other ways, providing game design counselling, designing the level select, options and credit screen layouts, creating the game's trailer, as well as identifying and reporting various bugs and issues within the game.
Additionally, after the launch of Gawble Gunrange, I created a comprehensive Japanese translation sheet for all of the text within the game.
